Dear Logan,
At 18 months you are both a joy and a challenge! You are beginning to understand the power of persuasion and how to get a reaction. You like to laugh loud, shriek louder and be the center of attention in all circumstances. Walking is a thing of the past – now you run! Keeping track of you is getting more difficult as you really like to walk independently, along with feeding yourself and demanding a big boy cup. No more sippy!
The last time we were at clinic you weighed 25 pounds and were 34 inches tall. Your doctors continue to be amazed at how well you are doing. If a stranger looked at you, they would never be able to guess that you are in heart failure!
You are the sweetest, most loving and adorable child placed on this earth and I am so lucky to be your mama, even though you’ve been calling me Amy a lot lately.
You are having a vocabulary explosion and can say: mama, dada, nana, mimi, pop pop, no, yes, cheese, water, baba, baby, up, bite, bye bye, hi , night night, fish, quack and uh oh. There might be more, but those I can understand clearly.
