Today has been a pretty good day- Logan got 2 chest tubes removed, an arterial line out, he drank some Pedialyte and I got to hold him!! He is starting to act more like Logan too…..such a cutie pie! We had an echocardiogram done today and everything looks great, the doctors are very pleased. Our first biopsy will be Tuesday (to check for rejection) and there is rumors that we might be getting out of CVICU on Wednesday. That would be a very welcome move if the time is right. No rushing though!
Seth flies in tonight at 10ish and we will be at the hospital pretty late after that. I keep telling Logan that Dada is coming and he seems pretty excited. The Schroeders left this afternoon for Oklahoma. I can’t wait to see the Oklahoma state line again!
Tomorrow begins college football (GO POKES!!!) and Monday I begin life in a new decade. Here’s hoping that my 30′s are much kinder to me than my 20′s!!
