Logan has been discharged from CVICU and we are now proudly residing in our very own little step down room, 1501 West Tower! This means that we have a little bit of privacy (Read: private bathroom and a couch for mama!) and are well enough to get all meds PO (by mouth). I found out today that L is on 18 medications. 18. Wowza…..no idea how I’ll manage, but I will give it a go.
I’ll be learning all about Logan’s meds, rejection symptoms and anything else the transplant team thinks is important while we live on this floor. I’m looking forward to learning the “new” Logan. I had the single ventricle down…..new heart problems make an old pro like me nervous!
Seth is coming down on Friday night to spend the weekend with us. Its hard being away from us, so give him some extra love if you see him around Tulsa. XOXO (Seth’s Mama) is going to come down and help me out next week. It’s much easier to stay 24/7 when there are two people!
That is great that you guys have been moved to the step down unit. Always a good sign.
