It is my favorite time of year – college football is here, the leaves will start changing soon, the smell of chimneys warming homes is near…..and I’m missing it. Houston does not feel or look like Oklahoma does in the Fall. I admit that I will be enjoying my flip flops during their first freeze, but my heart and soul long for the familiar people and landscapes that only Oklahoma holds.
It is going to be a long 2 months, but we will hopefully be back in time to throw the biggest 2nd birthday bash y’all have ever seen. Logan deserves a big cake and maybe a present or two. (But mostly just the cake – this child already had everything thanks to the grandparents and Mimi!!)
Speaking of Logan, guess who is walking again?! Yes, he is stronger every day and is getting back to being his old self. Such a miracle, such a blessing…..I am so not worthy of your faithfulness Lord!
